Happiness is a State of Mind


Happiness. The Oxford English Dictionary defines happiness as ‘Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment’. It is also the quality or state of being happy, ergo Happiness is a state, a state of mind. Pleasure, joy, exhilaration, bliss, contentedness, delight, enjoyment, satisfaction are all words that describe happiness. No matter who you are or where you come from, the simple things in life can make you happy, instantly. Rich or poor, big or small, Asian or Caucasian, happiness is global. Happiness is all around, you just have to find it, seize it, live it and enjoy it in its purest form. So have a Happy Day, Happy tomorrow, Happy Birthday, Happy February, Happy Year, Happy 2011, and most importantly have a Happy Life. Happiness counts. Happiness gives you memories that are worth sharing with your grandchildren. Happiness is a state of mind, always was and always will be.
